RATCHABURI: A six-month pregnant horse was injured when she was hit by a car on a road in Muang district early on Sunday, police said. The car, a black Honda Civic, was partly damaged but the driver was not hurt. Teeradet Withaya-areekul, 34, the driver of the car, said that while he was returning home from business a black horse suddenly emerged from a road side and walked across the road. He was unable to stop the car, which sent the horse lying on the road. Police invited both Mr Teeradet and Mr Nirat to the police station for talks about compensation.
